Al Kaline remains possibly the most revered Tigers player to this day. An eighteen-time All Star, Mr. Tiger spent 22 glorious seasons in Detroit, amassing 3,007 hits and a World Series ring with their storied 1968 team. Kaline is pictured here on a pretty spectacular-looking Near Mint PSA 7 1954 Topps rookie card that is well-centered and been admirably maintained over the last seven decades, as a richly red background serves as the perfect canvas for the two images of the Tigers slugger. The corners are barely starting to tip and the overall look is immensely appealing. A well-rendered reverse rides along, in similarly fine shape; this is one not to miss.
