Official 1932 Newark Bears scorecard for a game featuring several major league old timers. Interior pages of scorecard include pasted-in rosters displaying former major leaguers at nearly every position for both the "Leaguers" and "Newark" teams. Notables include: Nick Altrock, Dave Bancroft, Jimmy Bannon, Buck Herzog, Tim Jordan, Rube Oldring, Pop Foster, and the great Honus Wagner. All pages present beautifully with some wrinkling and small tears appearing at the upper-right corner and top edge of cover. An almost imperceptible fold appears running horizontally down the length of the scorecard and a small piece of the lower-right corner of back cover has chipped away. Consigned to us directly from the estate of former Newark catcher (1927-29) and manager (1948) Bill Skiff. An intriguing piece of New Jersey-related baseball memorabilia with connection to one of the game's most significant Deadball Era figures.
