Collector-grade grouping of well-worn cards from the 1933 Goudey issue.  Cards from the most popular set of the gum card era have rapidly grown unaffordable, partially due to the intense value growth of the Babe Ruth cards, and partially due to the excellent player selection within the issue.  This grouping of cards averages POOR condition with a few that might be described as FAIR, and generally runs the gamut of condition flaws.  For a budget-conscious collector, though, this is an opportunity to acquire a nice-sized grouping of cards from the set.  As the old saying goes, "better to have a hole in the card than a hole in the collection."  Grouping includes the following: #27 Connally (heavy trim), #28 Bartell (heavy trim), #31 Lazzeri (HOF - light trim, heavy wear), #33 Kress, #39 Koenig, #50 Brandt, #58 O'Doul, #60 Hoyt (HOF, heavy trim), #65 Gaston (heavy trim), #76 Cochrane (HOF), #80 Manion, #85 Sand, #93 Welch, #108 Kuhel, #124 Whitehill, #152 Cohen, #212 Urbanski, and #232 O'Doul.  Pretty much every flaw a card can have can be ween within this group, but they are still important parts of one of the hobby's most important card sets. 18 cards total.
