Marty Marion, the slick fielding shortstop and key member of three Cardinals World Series champions in the World War 2 era, made his rookie card debut, like many other players with several MLB years already under their belts, in the 1948 Bowman set. Marion has signed in black Sharpie and it makes for a wonderful presentation on this B&W card, with his strong, flowing autograph garnering a well-deserved PSA/DNA 10. The card itself has some old residue and a little staining, with corners rounding and the signature well positioned at bottom.
