The Colgan's Chips Red Border Series (E270-1 in the American Card Catalog) followed on the heels of the company's more expansive E254 Stars the Diamond set and is the toughest of their three issues to track down. Scott Walker was a career minor leaguer and bowed out after the 1911 season, his third in Atlanta. One of three examples in the PSA database, this PSA 2 (MK) has centering problems, no surprise as the set is known for them. Chipping is seen around the rim, with a nicely contrasted image present. The reverse has far better centering, with some paper out in spots along the edge.
