.The Colgan's Chips Red Border Series (E270-1 in the American Card Catalog) followed on the heels of the company's more expansive E254 Stars the Diamond set and is the toughest of their three issues to track down. How appropriate that a player nicknamed Red made it into this set! PSA 1.5 in grade and the sole example in their database, we are presented with a card that has some wrinkling across the middle, possibly from the initial opening of the gum tin. The red border has very little chipping seen and the image of Fisher is strong and nicely centered. The reverse looks sweet, with nice centering as well.
