Apparently broken out of a time capsule from 1957, this Topps rookie card of Hall-of-Famer Frank Robinson sports a wonderful, bright and fresh look.  Snow white borders, robust reds and fabulous tertiary colors beckon and you can practically feel that Robinson's massive power about to be unleashed.  This SGC 6.5 is centered a little to the left, with strong corners and edges present. The reverse has a strip of wax or gum residue visible, running along both the bottom and a smaller one in the upper left corner area, as oriented here, fairly light overall. The reverse has the same bright look as the front, with centering to match. Robinson's hitting prowess is well-documented, while his ground-breaking managerial career has left a lasting legacy.
