Better known as a high-average batter and first baseman, Hall-of-Famer George Sisler broke in with the Browns in 1915 as a two-way player and The Sporting News elected to show him as a moundsman in their 1916 set, which we now call M101-5. Graded EX 5 by SGC, some print lines are evident running down the right vertical obverse, typical of the issue.  The corners are tight and edges strong, with a virtually flawless blank back reverse completing the package.
