Large-format team photo featuring what appears to be a softball team (though "softball" as a sport was not codified until much later), perhaps a school or church team.  Nine young women are pictured, along with one male, posed in a studio with a pennant reading "Covenant."  Large-sized balls flank the banner, with the dates 1909 and 1910 painted on each.  The players are wearing bloomer-style uniforms, each with a serious, determined facial expression.  The photo itself grades EX-MT with a significant amount of visible silvering, the mount exhibiting some toning and foxing.  The reverse shows staining around the edges from nails, indicating the photo was once housed in a frame.
