The St. Louis Stars (of Cincinnati) are shown here on a red-tinted advertising card with good luck swastikas, well-before their later, obscene use, prominent. The image has come through in good shape, the borders though have some staining and the whole piece is pasted to a larger individual card with the image of a woman, shown on the back. Both sides have some foxing and soiling. The team address was, interestingly enough, care of "The Bill Board," which we know as Billboard magazine (founded in Cincinnati) and used to feature a mail forwarding service for some 42,000 traveling performers at its peak.
