Martin Textor was a baker in Newport, Kentucky, a town just across the Ohio River from base ball mad Cincinnati, who assembled a "Lady Tourist" Base Ball Club in the early part of the Twentieth Century. The advertising card depicted here has been folded, with heavy creasing and staining seen. The image is fairly well-composed and the contrast is superb.
