Lot Description  

Superb 6.5" x 8.5" original Type 1 photo of "The Flying Dutchman" - Honus Wagner. A Pirates hitting coach by this stage in his life, Wagner is pictured in 1934 with a young team mascot that has greeted him at Pittsburgh's spring facility in Paso Robles, CA. A portion of the upper-left corner has torn away from this photo but the central image is not impacted. Large International news service credit stamping appears on verso with a small paper caption affixed. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
