"Shoeless" Joe Jackson is best known among casual fans as being a member of the Chicago White Sox, his legend having grown enormous after his infamous banning from baseball following the investigation into White Sox members' throwing the World Series.  Jackson broke into the majors with Connie Mack's A's, however, and in 1910 was sent to Cleveland where he played for five and a half seasons before moving to Chicago.  Arguably, his two greatest seasons in the majors were with Cleveland where he played alongside Nap Lajoie.  The two made a formidable pair in 1913, with Jackson hitting .373 with 109 runs scored and 197 hits, while Lajoie batted .335 with 68 RBI and a .398 on base percentage.  Despite this, the team finished just third in the AL behind the A's and Senators.  As is the case with most cards from the T200 set, this example does suffer from some condition flaws, notably wrinkling to the photographic emulsion at the top right of the card.  Still, quite an attractive example for the grade, a more affordable card featuring Joe Jackson during his playing days.
