Cleveland southpaw, Fritz Coumbe delivers in this original 8" x 10" news service photo from the lens of Charles Martin Conlon. Conlon has captured Coumbe at the Polo Grounds during his first of six season with the Naps before moving on to Cincinnati over in the National League. Subsequent to his time in the majors Coumbe toiled in the minors for ten seasons; including three with the Salt Lake City Bees of the PCL as depicted on the included 1923 Zeenut card (in poor condition). Surface photo displays some creative editorial masking outlining Coumbe with some light chipping to the white borders. Verso includes several handwritten pencil notations in Conlon's hand along with two of Conlon's personal credit stampings. Guaranteed Type 1.
