The 1914 E145 Cracker Jack set brought a jolt of red to the little prizes it had started inserting into boxes of their sticky confection two years earlier. More like thick paper than thin cardboard, the cards were highly susceptible to product staining and damage. Tommy Leach may be getting ready to play Pepper here on a card where someone looks to have trimmed it into something like a playing card. Product stains are mostly confined to the bottom of the obverse, and a little more evident on the back.
