Billikens were designed as premiums for a brand of cigars in 1923-24, during a short, active period of Cuban card issues. Ernie Krueger was a catcher, primarily for the three New York teams when he was in the big leagues, with a very long career in pro ball (22 seasons) whose one season of Winter ball found him with Marianao. The card is fairly graded as an SGC 1, with rounded corners, some creasing and foxing seen on the front, with a number inked in red found on the reverse.
