Earl Torgeson was an excellent first baseman across 15 major league seasons, truly a complete ballplayer for several teams who finally hung it up in 1961. His 1952 Topps card has an almost crazed look due to the angle Topps decided to go with and the specimen seen here has some staining, especially in the lower left quadrant, with some corner rounding. Torgeson appears to have been in a rush signing this card as his last name trails off the edge. PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC.
