Mounted photograph of St. Louis Browns pitcher, Barney Pelty "The Yiddish Curver." Though the large 10" x 12" dark mount exhibits light chipping around the edges, it has done an admirable job in protecting the affixed photograph which has survived fully intact. Photo itself measures 6.25" x 8.5" and depicts Pelty delivering a pitch, the unmistakeable St. Louis Browns logo clearly visible on his right sleeve. Verso is blank with light soiling present. Consigned to us directly from the estate of Barney Pelty himself where this artifact has remained until the time of this sale.
