Fine looking tableau of the 1913 New York Giants, featuring a brace of Hall-of-Famers including Christy Mathewson, John McGraw and Rube Marquard.  Also featured, almost impossibly, is Jim Thorpe. This team would lose the World Series to Connie Mack's juggernaut Athletics team. The front has dings and chips as seen, with  a crease running into the image but not affecting any of the players negatively. The image is clear and well contrasted - note the shin guards and catcher's mitt in the right foreground. The reverse has some foxing, mostly around the edges, with nice, legible black text.
