The 1961 MVP run is one of the more well-executed subsets Topps ran with over the years. The graphics made the players look like they were represented by busts, in an almost classical look and the overall look is effortlessly elegant. Mantle's exceptional two year run as AL MVP in 1956-57 is commemorated on a blazing red PSA 5. Centering is perhaps just a hair left and to the bottom, with nice edges and corners that are pretty nice, although upper right took a small hit at some point. A clean back is presented, with centering a bit more rightward than seen on the obverse. It's a really sharp looking MVP-Mickey alright!
