A number of Derek Jeter rookie cards were issued in 1993, with his Upper Deck SP being the cream of the crop as the most desirable of the bunch. It's hard to believe it came out thirty years ago and still looks this good! The sub-grades of the BGS Mint 9 tell the story of one of the most important and desirable cards of the 1990's, with superb centering a 9's given for the edges and surface. The 8.5 sub grade on the corners references the lightly touched one in the lower left. The reverse is colorful, bright and shows what was actually a down inaugural minor league season for the eventual Hall-of-Famer and Yankees great. Spoiler alert, he rebounded nicely.
