Billikens were designed as premiums for a brand of cigars in 1923-24, during a short, active period of Cuban card issues. "Snake" Henry (not "Hennry" as seen on the card) played for Almendares in 1923-24 in the middle of a very long career that spanned 25 years. A North Carolinian and journeyman, he was coming off the second of his only two seasons with the Boston Braves when he was captured in this set. SGC 3 in grade, this is one of 13 in the SGC database, with two more in the PSA pop report. Fairly graded, a small crease is seen in the upper right corner, with a small bit of paper lost in the upper left corner. The reverse has foxed a bit but looks pretty nice overall.
