Attractive mid grade example of Mays' second-year card graded VG-EX 4 by PSA clearly due to centering. Throughout the early years of baseball card production centering was not considered the issue it is today among condition-conscious collectors. This example has been well-preserved with a strong quality image and excellent registration for the issue. The 1952 Topps set ushered in the "golden age" of baseball card collecting largely due to the colorful image and elegant design. The #261 card of Willie Mays was clearly one of the issue's keys and is a highly desired card today. A beautiful example.
