Johnston Cookies celebrated the Braves moving to Milwaukee with a three year run of classic sets. This is the middle set and it is narrower than the other two, giving it a distinct look. Hank Aaron was a rookie in 1954 and he's included as he began his ascent to the Hall of Fame. Graded by SGC as Authentic (Altered) thanks to the residue of some long removed tape showing along the bottom, the superb color this set is known for is on display here. The corners have j-u-u-u-s-t started to fray on a centered obverse. The reverse has a couple of spots of dirt and a nice, period look.
