This 1938 low number Goudey certainly shows why Hall-of-Fame catcher Ernie Lombardi was known as "Schnozz." Holdered as a PSA 5, strong color can be seen, with a very well struck facial image quite apparent. There is some foxing on the obverse, which is fairly typical for this release. The reverse is nice and legible, with very light toning, again quite typical, barely visible. The card presents well overall and is a fine exemplar from this quirky set.
