One of the more attractive images in all the Cracker Jack issues is that of Eddie Cicotte, arms folded and smiling, relaxed and cheerful.  Cicotte would, of course, later be suspended for life for his role in fixing the 1919 World Series, but here in 1915, Cicotte was in the midst of a career renaissance, largely due to his mastery of the knuckleball and a number of less legal "trick" pitches.  Cicotte would post career-best numbers over the next several years, in 1919 going 29-7 with a 1.82 earned run average.  His card here is graded VG 3 by PSA, due largely to surface staining and corner wear, though the image quality remains largely strong and the red background striking.
