Billy Meyer was in his final season managing the hapless Pittsburgh Pirates in 1952.  A dead last finish sealed his fate but not before Topps gave him a slot in their high number series. That this card is a little off center is hardly the point though.  Meyer died in 1957 and there are but two of his 1952 Topps cards encapsulated by PSA/DNA. This is one of those two, implausibly and inarguably among the hardest combinations of card and pen in the postwar era, just a tough, tough find. Since we handled the sale of the other example we can unequivocally say that this is the finer of the two.  The signature is in black ink, a it's gorgeous, with rolling, clear as a bell penmanship. It's PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC, and 100% rare.
