Roy Hartsfield, strikes a confident pose on his 1952 Topps card semi-high here, although this was his last season in the major leagues. A second baseman who steadily worked his way up the Braves minor league ladder, he was optioned to AAA on June 14th, then spent five more seasons playing before embarking on a lengthy career as a manager.
