Harry "Suitcase" Simpson, with a nickname he picked up while playing in the Negro National League at the start of his career and actually having nothing to do with his frequent later team movements, would eventually have it prove apt as he played for eleven teams in his professional career. With its curious puffy cloud background, the look of his 1952 Topps card is an outlier even in a set with some pretty outlandish colors and backgrounds. This well loved specimen has a nice blue pen signature from Simpson, has signed as Harry here in a PSA/DNA Authentic holder.  Simpson died quite young, at age 53 in 1979, and as a result, his signed cards are difficult to find - PSA/DNA has authenticated just 13 examples of his 1952 Topps card.
