Traded form the Reds to the Dodgers in 1955, Bob Borkowski spent nine games in Brooklyn before his .105 average earned him a demotion to the minors; he was never to be seen again in the big leagues. Topps gave him the horizontal high number treatment in 1952 and, as holdered here, the card is quite attractive but with a slight tilt. The original autograph seeker erased his name from the card and had Borkowski sign in the name box. The signature was applied in blue ink, authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
