Pete Runnels was a superb hitter for 14 big league seasons, nabbing two AL batting titles, barely missing a third, and also was an Original Colt in 1962. There's a couple of damaged corners at the top and the centering is up and to the right but the color on this card is outstanding. The PSA/DNA Authentic signature in blue ink is compact, neat and nice.  Runnels passed in 1991; PSA has authenticated just 13 signed examples of his 1952 Topps black back cards.
