Despite what the back of his 1952 Topps card states, Al Rosen's birthday was on February 29th, not March 1st. Primarily a third baseman for the Indians across ten major league campaign, Rosen earned a ring with the 1948 Indians but hadn't yet rounded into the form that made his one of the best sluggers in the American League during the first half of the Fifties. With some modest corner wear and a hint of ink or dirt on the top border, the crimson background on this card is a beauty. The black Sharpie signature is PSA/DNA Authentic.
