A famed 1950 Whiz Kid in Philly, Jim Konstanty snagged the 1950 National League MVP Award, beating out Stan Musial in what was not a close vote. He did it by relieving in 74 games, finishing 62 of them. The card seen here was taped top and bottom at some point and has a child's notation on the reverse indicating later teams, including the Yankees from 1954-1956, where was unable to grab that elusive World Series ring. The signature is in blue ballpoint authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA. Konstanty died young, at age 59 in 1976.
