Spectacular H.H. Bregstone postcard of pitcher Bill Bailey.  The Bregstone postcard issue contains photographic images of members of the St. Louis Browns and Cardinals, and is rare enough that poses and variations remain as of yet undiscovered.  Catalogued as PC743, they are considered among the most rare postcards featuring individual players from multiple teams.  

The card was one of a significant find of Bregstone postcards we received on consignment from the family of former Browns pitcher Barney Pelty. The first and only Bregstone of Bailey to have been assessed by PSA, it has been graded VG-EX 4.  Just three examples have been graded by SGC, none higher than GOOD 2. While the grade is accurate, the image quality is quite strong for a Bregstone, many of which are found with faded images.  The wear is largely relegated to the corners and top edge, an exceptionally rare and highly desirable postcard.
