Bill "Swish" Nicholson was so-nicknamed due to his air-cutting practice swings and led the Cubs in home runs for eight consecutive seasons - the man could rake. His 1952 Topps card is a study in color and composition, truly a classic, pushed slightly to the left on this example. The reverse has some inked corrections in the same black color that appear to have been used by the hand that signed the front, seemingly made by Nicholson himself, although this is unconfirmed. The PSA/DNA AUTHENTIC signature is bold, with a tiny bit of smudging.
