Cliff Mapes broke in with the Yankees as an outfielder in 1948 and had a season not many ever have-he had more doubles than singles over 53 games. He spent three seasons in New York, with the World Series rings to show it.  His nickname was Tiger and fittingly he concluded the major league portion of his career with Detroit.  Nicely and neatly signed in black, the 1952 Topps card has a small dot of print spray and a little corner rounding but looks super colorful. PSA/DNA has reviewed the autograph and it is AUTHENTIC.
