A stringbean of a righty, Steve Gromek was a fine, if sometimes underused, pitcher for Cleveland for 13 seasons before spending his last four years in Detroit. He won a tight 2-1 clash with Boston in the 1948 World Series and earned his only ring.  The front of this 1952 Topps semi-high card looks really nice, with just a hint of corner wear while a tape remnant is visible on the reverse.  The autograph is AUTHENTIC per PSA/DNA and a little spotty in application.
