A savvy catcher for the New York Giants from 1947-57, Wes Westrum later took over as Mets skipper when Casey Stengel retired, guiding them during some of their most futile years before he returned to the Giants, where he helmed them in 1974-75.  His 1952 Topps card is a colorful affair, tilted to an off center lower left corner.  His signature in blue ballpoint pen, is a MINT 9 courtesy of PSA/DNA.
