Ben Wade was a protoypical signing for Topps to fill out the 1952 high numbers. A fireballing righty with control issues, he had a cup of coffee with the Cubs in 1948 and didn't sniff the majors again until he made the 1952 Dodgers squad, pitching quite well. The card displays a strong image with good color, while PSA/DNA has granted a grade of MINT 9 to his signature, blue and bold in Sharpie, running up the right side of the card. One of just seven in the PSA/DNA population report.
