Dick Brodowoski broke in as a 19 year old with the Red Sox in June of 1952 and was drafted into the Army before the end of the calendar year. Topps added him to their high numbers as part of a coterie of unknown players there were able to procure. His card, ungraded here, is a wonder of airbrushing and strange colors but this autograph and inscription hereon ("Emily, Best Wishes") in black felt tip have earned a grade of MINT 9 from PSA/DNA.
