Spectacular rookie card of Ted Williams, seemingly growing in popularity by the minute. This example originates from a fresh-to-the-hobby find of 1930s gum cards, consigned by the family of their original owner. Many of the cards in the group appeared virtually untouched, as is the case with this example, which is extremely well-centered with very little surface wear, but very lightly-touched corners keeping the card from a higher holder. Finding cards like this is a dream, a beautiful, sharp example of one of the most important cards of its era.
