Very sharp and clean group of Hall of Famers from the beautiful and underrated 1939 Playball set. 1939 Playball cards feature a simple design with a sharp black and white photo on the front and the player identification and biographical information on the reverse. Clean examples are truly beautiful. Included in this collection are three Hall of Famers: #39 Rick Ferrell (SGC EX/NM 80); #82 Chuck Klein (SGC EX 50); and #82 Lloyd Waner (SGC EX 60). The Klein and Waner appear more attractive than the assigned grade; light corner wear is the single culprit having kept the cards from grading higher. A very pleasing group of cards.
