E90-1 is to caramel cards what T206 is to tobacco cards. Dubbed "The Kraken" in some quarters (a play on T206 being called "The Monster"), the set's array of Hall-of-Famers and short printed subjects is impressive and challenging.  Ty Cobb is one of the keys and has been an in-demand card for many decades.

This example presents a bright image, with some pleasing subtleties in the nascent twilight sky adding some nice depth to the color.  There's some mild creasing and the corners are a bit rounded, while the border are large top and bottom, a desirable trait. The back looks to have some original product staining but presents very well. Cobbs are always popular and this is a strong example for the grade.
