An early Mexican player in the major leagues, Frank Arrelanes spent three seasons with the Boston Americans, doing well on the mound but ended up traded to Sacramento in the PCL at the tail end of the 1910 season when he failed to stay in shape. He managed to lose a no hitter a month after that and ultimately perished in the 1918 influenza pandemic. This 1909 T204 Ramly shows him in a fine looking portrait, with a crease running vertically down from the top into the oval frame the most prominent condition issue. The back has picked up a little dirt along the way but remains legible.
