Years before being banned for his role in throwing the 1919 World Series Buck Weaver played one season with the San Francisco Seals of the PCL accumulating a .282 batting average with 9 home runs in 674 at bats. The card remains tremendously desirable today due to its scarcity as well as due to the popularity of Black Sox players in general among today's hobbyists.
