Unique mounted photograph of Negro Leagues star, Howard Easterling. Easterling appears to be sporting the uniform of an obscure team known as the "New York Stars." Unfortunately, further information regarding such a team remains highly elusive. Cream colored heavy paper mount displays a date stamp of June 18, 1950 and measures approx. 8.5" x 10". Photo itself measures approx. 4.75" x 6.25" and editorial masking been applied to the upper-right portion of the image. Verso of mount displays a handwritten notation in pencil that reads "New York Stars BBC."
