T206 Southern Leaguers are both a subset and a set of their own and are often a key roadblock for builders of this perennial hobby favorite. George "Scoops" Carey and was many year removed from his least appearance in the big leagues when he was captured here playing out the string with Memphis on a Piedmont 350 reverse, with a sunset about to start behind him.  The color here has remained vibrant and the front has just the slightest indication of surface wear off to the left, with a reverse that's got a small scuff or rub mark. The top cut is a typical looking one for the series.
