Please note that our printed catalog notes this sweater as a 1950s model.  Please excuse the typographical error, as this is a 1960's sweater.  Further, please note that under bright photographic light, it is very difficult to capture the true color of this sweater.  It is a dark maroon, with gold piping. In our printed catalog, it appears a much brighter red. 

Beautiful woollen sweater manufactured by HL Whiting Co of Seattle for a member of the USC Trojans.  The name "Blackburn" is stitched into the tag.  The sweater itself, which has no indication of size, is in outstanding condition, the number 61 sewn to the front of the sweater.  Bright maroon, with the numbers featuring gold piping, an outstanding memento of USC football despite our inability to identify its original owner.  Full LOA from MEARS.
