Beautiful 1971 New York Yankees home jersey attributed to former Yankees utility man Frank Tepedino.  The jersey has been heavily restored by William F. Henderson, author of The Game Worn Guide to MLB Jerseys (an outstanding resource).  Henderson received the jersey in poor condition but with Tepedino's name tagged inside the back collar.  After thorough cleaning, Henderson replaced the interlocking NY and uniform numbers with restored examples using 100% Marino wool, dyed to match Yankees colors, stitching the lettering as 1971 jerseys were stitched.  The result is a gorgeous original 1971 jersey, perfect Yankee pinstripes as worn by the infielder, a stunning example.  Full letter of restoration from William F.
