Virtually immaculate Spalding Official NL  Baseball (Giles), signed by 26 members of the 1955 Pittsburgh Pirates (and two duplicates), including rookie Roberto Clemente (HOF).  The ball is in outstanding condition, save for a fingerprint-sized stain on the sweet spot that somewhat obscures the signature of infielder Dick Cole.  The signatures have been applied in blue ballpoint, with very little fading.  Signatures include Cole and John Fitzpatrick (coach - SS), Dick Littlefield, Vernon Law, Max Surmount, Dick Cole (twice), Fred Haney (Mgr), Johnny O'Brien, Frank Thomas, Tom Safely (slightly faded), Bob Friend, Jack Shepard, Laurin Pepper, Preston Ward, Dale Long, Jerry Lynch, Ron Kline, Elroy Face, Gene Freese, Eddie O'Brien, Roberto Clemente (HOF), Lino Donoso, Sam Narron (coach), Red Swanson, Fred Waters, Roman Mejias, Preston Ward (twice), and Dick Hall.
